Survival knives happen to be a camper`s best friend. Those who are used to frequently buying camping and survival knives are aware of the joy and thrill of buying a new knife. To be fair, a knife is much more than a survival tool, it is a versatile tool that can be used to perform a variety of tasks (cooking, hunting, hacking, self-defense, etc.). Probably the ugliest knife in my collection by a considerable margin. Aesthetic aside, I think the Svord Peasant is a great performer. The friction backrest is very safe due to the elongated erl and the scales are ridiculously comfortable. I own the plastic version, and I suggest you get it too. It`s cheaper and more comfortable in my opinion. The blade itself is made of carbon steel, which is a sharpening pleasure, and despite its rustic appearance, I think its performance, especially on wood, is amazing.

Ideally, an everyday carrying bag knife should be lightweight. The difference between a few grams doesn`t seem like much on paper, but just wait to carry it in your pocket for more than 12 hours a day. It adds up.
