Anyone who becomes a “manager of a firm” is required to complete the New Partner Practice Management (PMM) course within 12 months of taking up his or her duties, in accordance with Rule D2.2. The course is approved by the CCP under Rule 18I of the Legal Profession Rules 2009 (WA) and if you have successfully completed the course, you will receive a PMC of Western Australia statement which can be provided to the LPB to remove the restriction on practising as a headmaster from your certificate of practice.
